Simon & Schuster and Urano World Publishing Group, one of the biggest independent publishers in Spain and Latin America, has partnered on a publishing arrangement between Primero Sueño Press, an imprint of Atria Books, and Urano Publishing. This is the first time S&S will have the opportunity to distribute directly into the Spanish-speaking marketplace.
“This partnership is representative of S&S’s ambition to expand the scope of its international publishing efforts, in English, translated work, and foreign languages,” S&S said.
As part of the agreement, a select number of Spanish-language titles will be published in Spain and Latin America by Urano World and its imprints, as well as distributing titles directly to most Spanish-speaking territories throughout the world. In the US, co-published titles will be published under the Primero Sueño Press imprint.
